Potluck: bring dairy or light veg dish
Shavuot commemorates and celebrates a psycho-spiritually pivotal part of Jewish history, namely the giving of the 10 commandments (thus the Torah) at Mt. Sinai.
While we won’t take as much time, this holiday is traditionally celebrated with 24-hrs for participants to teach, present something, or do anything that might be interesting/enjoyable such as music, poetry, jokes…no restrictions.
–We traditionally eat dairy dishes on this holiday.
